First seen Apr 05, 2026 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This pilot study tested whether Tixel, a treatment normally used for wrinkles around the eyes, could also improve dry eye symptoms. 75 adults with mild to moderate dry eye and wrinkles received the standard Tixel treatment. Researchers measured changes in tear film stability, dry eye symptoms, and safety. The goal was to see if this cosmetic procedure could offer a dual benefit.
