Summary
This study tested whether the injectable medication tirzepatide helps control blood sugar and promotes weight loss in Chinese adults with type 2 diabetes. 206 participants were randomly assigned to receive either tirzepatide or a placebo injection for several months. Researchers measured changes in long-term blood sugar levels (HbA1c) and body weight to see if the drug was effective and safe.
