Could a diabetes shot help beat uterine cancer without surgery?
NCT ID NCT07605247
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether adding a weight-loss shot (tirzepatide) to standard hormone therapy can better treat early-stage uterine cancer or pre-cancer in overweight women. About 30 participants will either get the standard progesterone IUD alone or the IUD plus tirzepatide. The goal is to see if the combination clears the cancer and improves quality of life, while avoiding surgery and preserving fertility.
