NCT ID NCT05548517

First seen Apr 22, 2026 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study looked at whether eating only within a 9-hour window each day, combined with cutting calories, helps overweight older women lose weight and keep their bones healthy. Researchers compared this approach to just cutting calories alone. The goal was to see if the eating schedule affects gut bacteria, bone density, and body composition. 49 postmenopausal women took part in the study in New Jersey.
