Can changing when you eat fix your metabolism?
NCT ID NCT07189234
Summary
This study is testing if limiting daily eating to an 8-12 hour window can improve long-term health for people with metabolic syndrome, a condition that increases the risk of heart disease and diabetes. Over 54 weeks, 140 participants will either follow this time-restricted eating pattern or receive standard health advice. Researchers will track changes in blood sugar, cholesterol, weight, and body composition to see if this eating schedule is a helpful long-term strategy.
