First seen Feb 19, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This pilot study tested whether time-restricted eating (eating only during certain hours) and blue-blocking glasses can help people with bipolar disorder who are experiencing mania. The goal was to see if these approaches are practical and can improve manic symptoms and sleep-wake cycles. Twenty-one participants were enrolled, and the study used interviews and symptom scales to gather feedback for a larger future trial.
