First seen Apr 11, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study looked at whether time-restricted eating (eating only during a set window each day) helps overweight or obese people with prediabetes return to normal blood sugar levels. Over 12 months, 142 participants followed either the eating schedule or standard care. The main goal was to see how many achieved normal blood sugar, with secondary goals including weight loss and preventing progression to diabetes.
