New brain clot grabber tested in stroke patients

NCT ID NCT07363525

Summary

This study is collecting information on how well and how safely a device called the Tigertriever works to remove blood clots from brain arteries in people having a stroke. It will follow 150 patients who receive this standard clot-removal procedure within 8 hours of their stroke symptoms starting. The main goal is to see how many patients recover well and how effectively the device restores blood flow on the first try.
