Study tests if watching small thyroid nodules causes less anxiety than immediate biopsy
NCT ID NCT06220656
Summary
This is a small pilot study to see if it's feasible to compare two ways of managing small thyroid nodules that look suspicious on ultrasound. The study will compare the anxiety levels and quality of life of people who get an immediate biopsy (usual care) versus those who are closely monitored with regular ultrasounds. The goal is to gather information to design a larger future study.
