Scientists track how thyroid treatment changes your Body's fuel

Summary

This study aims to understand how changes in thyroid hormone levels affect the body's metabolism. It will observe 60 people with Graves' disease or thyroid cancer as their hormone levels are intentionally adjusted with medication. Researchers will perform sugar tolerance tests to measure effects on blood sugar control, insulin, energy use, and fat storage.
