Could a radiofrequency device help fight advanced breast cancer?
NCT ID NCT07672431
First seen Jun 29, 2026 · Last updated Jun 30, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This pilot study tests whether adding a device called TheraBionic P1 to standard treatment can help women with metastatic triple negative breast cancer who have already tried two prior treatments. The device delivers low-level radiofrequency electromagnetic fields and is used alongside standard third-line therapy. The study aims to see if this combination improves progression-free survival and quality of life.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
TheraBionic P1 device (amplitude-modulated radiofrequency electromagnetic fields)
What this could lead to
If effective, this device could offer a new way to extend survival and improve quality of life for patients with advanced triple negative breast cancer.
What could go wrong
This is a small pilot study with only 24 participants, so results may not apply broadly. The device is added to standard care, and its benefit over standard care alone is unproven.
