First seen May 05, 2026 · Last updated May 05, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether THC (the psychoactive part of cannabis) alone or combined with CBD can improve sleep in cancer patients with insomnia. About 69 adults with solid organ cancer who have trouble sleeping will receive either THC, a 1:1 mix of THC and CBD, or a placebo. The goal is to see if these cannabis-based treatments can ease insomnia symptoms and improve quality of life.
