Summary
This study is testing if pills containing THC and CBD, the main compounds in cannabis, can help people who have both chronic pain and an addiction to opioid drugs. The 147 participants are already receiving standard methadone treatment. Researchers want to see if different doses of these cannabis-based pills can safely reduce pain and lessen the urge to use opioids more effectively than a placebo.
