Summary

This study looks at how daily cannabis smoking changes pain tolerance and the risk of becoming dependent. Researchers will give healthy cannabis users either active or placebo cannabis for several days and measure their pain responses and withdrawal symptoms. The goal is to find out if cannabis can be a safe alternative to opioids for chronic pain.
