First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study aims to translate and test a questionnaire called PainPREDICT in Thai, and build a mobile app to help screen for painful diabetic neuropathy—a common nerve complication in diabetes. Researchers will enroll 277 adults with type 1 or type 2 diabetes to check if the tool is accurate and easy to use. The goal is to catch nerve pain early, prevent foot ulcers and amputations, and make screening more accessible in Thailand.
