First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study tested a nerve block called TFPB to control pain after open gynecologic surgery with a horizontal cut. 32 adults received the block or standard care. The main goal was to see if it lowered the need for morphine in the first 24 hours after surgery. The study also looked at pain scores, side effects, and whether it helped prevent long-term pelvic pain.
