Summary

This study is testing whether a continuous infusion of pain medicine directly into the abdomen after minimally invasive hysterectomy can reduce pain and the need for narcotics. 120 women having surgery for non-cancer reasons will be randomly assigned to receive either the pain medicine or a placebo. The goal is to see if this approach provides better pain control and reduces reliance on strong painkillers.
