Can a simple text message get more teens tested for HIV?

NCT ID NCT06096519

Summary

This study is testing if a text message program can encourage more teenagers to get tested for HIV. Researchers will enroll 360 adolescents (ages 13-19) across the US and randomly assign them to receive either the special text messages or general health information. The main goal is to see if the text messages lead to more teens getting an HIV test within 6 months, which could help catch infections early and prevent further spread.
