Can a simple text help beat cancer? study tests diet messages for survivors

NCT ID NCT05746195

Summary

This study tested whether sending personalized text messages could help colorectal cancer survivors eat more whole grains and less refined grains. Eating more whole grains may help lower the risk of dying from this cancer. The trial involved 46 survivors who received tailored nutrition advice and support via text messages for 12 weeks to see if this approach was helpful and easy to use.
