Hormone shots aim to ease final days for dying men

NCT ID NCT07143279

Summary

This study tests whether regular testosterone injections can improve quality of life for men with low testosterone who are receiving end-of-life care. Researchers will give injections every two weeks to 20 men and track changes in their daily function, symptoms, and comfort. The goal is to see if boosting testosterone helps these men feel better and maintain independence during their final months.
