New scanner aims to make cancer radiation planning faster
NCT ID NCT05844306
Summary
This study is testing a new type of PET-CT scanner called the RefleXion system. Researchers want to see if its images are as good as standard PET-CT scans at finding cancer spots in patients with various tumors. The goal is to learn if this new system could one day allow doctors to plan radiation therapy in fewer steps, potentially reducing the number of scans a patient needs.
