VA launches new system to catch silent liver disease in veterans

Summary
This study is testing a new, step-by-step care system designed to help VA primary care teams better identify and manage fatty liver disease (NAFLD) in Veterans. It compares this new system to usual care to see if it leads to more diagnoses and better follow-up treatment. The goal is to close a major gap in care, as many Veterans with this common liver condition currently go undiagnosed and untreated.
