First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study tested whether a bone-building drug (teriparatide) and whole-body vibration, alone or together, can increase bone density in people with chronic spinal cord injury. 60 adults with low bone mass took part over 12 months. The goal was to see if these treatments could slow or reverse bone loss, a common problem after spinal cord injury.
