First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 10, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study looked at whether using the tensegrity principle (a way of thinking about how body parts connect and support each other) in massage can make it more effective. Fifty-four healthy men aged 19-24 received either a tensegrity-based massage or no massage. Researchers measured muscle properties like stiffness and contraction speed before and after to see if the massage made a difference.
