First seen Dec 18, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study tested a non-invasive electrical stimulation device (TENS-WAA) on 60 adults undergoing general anesthesia. The goal was to see if it could lower the amount of remifentanil (a strong painkiller) needed to keep heart rate and blood pressure stable during breathing tube insertion. Results may lead to safer anesthesia with fewer side effects.
