NCT ID NCT07319754

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether a device called TENS, which sends mild electrical pulses through the skin, can help reduce pain and improve sleep after inguinal hernia surgery. About 80 adults having this surgery will either receive TENS or standard care. Researchers will measure pain levels and sleep quality in the first 24 hours after surgery to see if TENS makes recovery easier.
