First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 31 times

Summary

This study looked at whether a TENS unit, a small device that sends gentle electrical pulses through the skin, can help reduce pain during endometriosis flare-ups. Forty women with surgically confirmed endometriosis tracked their pain, medication use, and bleeding for three months without the device, then for another three months while using it. The goal was to see if the TENS unit made a difference in daily pain scores and quality of life.
