Summary
This trial tests whether a non-invasive technique called temporal interference (TI) stimulation can reduce abnormal electrical activity in the brains of adults with drug-resistant focal epilepsy. Participants, who are already undergoing brain monitoring with implanted electrodes for clinical care, will receive TI stimulation through scalp electrodes during wakefulness and, when possible, natural sleep. The study will measure changes in epilepsy-related brain signals and sleep rhythms, and compare TI with direct electrical stimulation delivered through the implanted electrodes.
