First seen Jan 15, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study tested whether adding a chemotherapy-like drug (thiopurine) to an immunotherapy (Atezolizumab) could help shrink advanced solid tumors that have spread. 18 adults with metastatic cancer that had no standard cure took part. The goal was to find the safest dose and see if the combination could slow or stop tumor growth.
