First seen Feb 06, 2026 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study tests whether a smartphone app called Band Connect can help people recover from rotator cuff surgery at home. About 68 adults will be randomly assigned to either standard in-person physical therapy or a home-based program using the app. The goal is to see if the app can improve shoulder pain and function just as well as traditional therapy.
