AI-Powered rehab at home could help MS patients move better

NCT ID NCT07310914

First seen Jun 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests whether an advanced telerehabilitation system, which uses AI to give instant feedback, can improve mobility in people with multiple sclerosis. 94 participants will either use the smart system or follow paper-based exercises at home. The goal is to see if this technology can help those who cannot or prefer not to travel to a clinic for exercise therapy.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance

telerehabilitation program

What this could lead to

If successful, this could offer a convenient, home-based exercise option for people with MS who cannot easily travel to a clinic.

What could go wrong

This is a small, early-phase trial (94 people) testing a behavioral intervention, so results may not apply to everyone with MS. The technology may not be better than simple paper exercises.
