Brain-Training telemedicine aims to help stroke survivors find their words

NCT ID NCT05845047

Summary

This study is testing two different online speech therapy programs for people who have trouble speaking after a stroke (aphasia). Researchers want to see if a new therapy designed to activate a different part of the brain is better at improving conversation skills than a standard word-naming therapy. The study involves 70 adults who had a stroke and will compare their ability to describe pictures and name objects before and after each treatment.
