Remote eye exams tested to catch Blindness-Causing diseases earlier
NCT ID NCT06934577
Summary
This study is testing whether telemedicine technology can help detect three major causes of blindness—glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, and serious cataracts—as effectively as standard eye exams. Researchers will compare detection rates between remote screening and traditional exams at community health centers. The goal is to make eye disease screening more accessible to people who might not regularly see eye doctors.
