Virtual support aims to help stroke survivors lose weight and reduce health risks

NCT ID NCT06569121

Summary

This study is testing whether a weight loss program delivered through telehealth (video calls and online support) can help people who have had a stroke. Researchers will compare the program to a waitlist group to see if it helps participants lose weight and improve health markers like blood pressure and cholesterol. The goal is to make healthy lifestyle support more accessible to stroke survivors, especially those in underserved communities.
