Can a song a day keep the blues away? online music therapy tested for autoimmune sufferers
NCT ID NCT07413874
Summary
This study is exploring whether weekly online music therapy sessions can help improve quality of life and reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety for adults living with autoimmune diseases like Type 1 Diabetes or Hashimoto's. Researchers will work with about 10 participants to refine an 8-week program delivered via Zoom by a certified music therapist. The main goal is to see if this approach is practical and acceptable, laying the groundwork for a larger future trial.
