Virtual coaching trial aims to ease breathing and sleep struggles for veterans
NCT ID NCT06390345
Summary
This study is testing whether a 3-month telehealth program combining lifestyle coaching and supervised exercise can improve quality of life for people with both COPD and sleep apnea. The program will involve 400 overweight or obese veterans who will be randomly assigned to either receive the telehealth coaching or be referred to standard care programs. Researchers will measure changes in physical health, sleep quality, weight, and breathing symptoms over one year.
