Summary
This study tested whether a telehealth program could help older patients (60+) with acute myeloid leukemia or myelodysplastic syndrome discuss and document their future medical wishes. Researchers enrolled 36 patients, caregivers, and clinicians to see if the program was easy to use and practical. The goal was not to treat the disease but to learn if this approach works for advance care planning.
