First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study tests whether a 24-week home exercise program, guided by a coach over video calls, can improve brain connectivity and physical fitness in people aged 60+ who have had a lacunar (small vessel) stroke. Sixty participants will be randomly assigned to either the exercise program or usual care. Researchers will measure changes in brain activity using EEG and track fitness levels to see if remote coaching helps recovery.
