This study looked at whether video or phone visits with a rheumatologist work as well as in-person visits for people with rheumatic diseases like arthritis. Over 650 adults took part, and researchers measured how satisfied patients were with each type of visit and which they preferred. The goal was to find safe and effective ways to deliver care during the COVID-19 crisis and beyond.
