First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 26, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This early-phase study tests a device that uses UV light to reshape the cornea, aiming to reduce the need for reading glasses in people with presbyopia (age-related blurry near vision). About 25 adults aged 40 to 65 with healthy eyes will receive the treatment and be followed for 3 months. The goal is to see if the procedure safely improves vision without long-term medication.
