Summary
This trial tests whether wavefront-guided LASIK, set to create monovision in one eye for near vision and the other for distance, can improve vision and reduce the need for reading glasses in people with presbyopia. About 219 participants aged 40 and older with mild to moderate nearsightedness will undergo the procedure and be followed for 12 months. Researchers will measure changes in driving ability and how often participants experience bothersome visual symptoms.
