NCT ID NCT06319430
First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looks at how technology, like LEGO robots, can help children with physical disabilities play. Researchers will ask parents and kids about what helps or hinders play, then let children play with robots or conventional toys. The goal is to create a complete model of play that therapists can use to support every child's right to play.

Active substance
LEGO robots and conventional play tools
What this could lead to
If successful, this could provide a better understanding of how to support play for children with disabilities, leading to improved play-based therapies.
What could go wrong
This is a small, early-stage study with only 20 participants, so findings may not apply broadly. The model is still being developed and tested.
