Summary
This study tested whether a teacher-led hygiene campaign in primary schools in Lagos, Nigeria, could improve handwashing and prevent diarrhea, undernutrition, and pneumonia in children. Over 3,500 children from schools with clean water and toilets took part. Researchers measured changes in hygiene knowledge, handwashing habits, and how often kids got sick.
