Summary

This study looks at whether a safe, non-invasive technique called transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) can help with attention, learning, and memory problems in people with schizophrenia. Researchers will test 160 participants to see if applying a tiny electrical current to the forehead during a task works better than at rest, and whether targeting the front or back of the head is more effective. The goal is to understand how tDCS affects brain activity and a key brain chemical called GABA, which may lead to future treatments for cognitive difficulties.
