First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated Jun 14, 2026 · Updated 34 times

Summary

This study compares two types of replacement heart valves (self-expanding vs. balloon-expandable) in people with aortic stenosis. Researchers will use exercise MRI to see which valve performs better during physical activity. About 90 adults who need a valve replacement will participate, and the study will track valve function and heart health over one year.
