First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 34 times
Summary
This study tests a new way to size heart valves during a procedure called TAVR for people with a specific type of bicuspid aortic stenosis (a heart valve condition). About 206 patients will be randomly assigned to either the new downsizing method or the standard sizing method. The goal is to see if the new approach leads to better device success and fewer complications like needing a pacemaker.
