Summary

This study tested a small, clip-on ear device that gently stimulates a nerve to see if it can reduce pain from diabetic nerve damage. 185 adults with type 2 diabetes and painful neuropathy used the device at home twice a day for 12 weeks. The goal was to measure changes in daily pain levels and markers of inflammation and nerve health.
