Summary
This study tested a non-invasive device that stimulates a nerve in the ear (taVNS) to see if it can calm inflammation and improve gut function in people with acute pancreatitis. Sixty adults with early-stage pancreatitis received either the real stimulation or a sham device. The goal was to see if the treatment could reduce symptoms and speed up recovery.
