Heart valve study seeks global clues: does your background affect your treatment?
NCT ID NCT07258706
Summary
This study aims to understand how patients from different countries and backgrounds differ when they receive a TAVI procedure for a narrowed heart valve. Researchers will look back at the medical records and CT scans of 800 patients to compare their heart anatomy, blood test results, and recovery outcomes. The goal is to gather knowledge that could help tailor future heart valve treatments more effectively for diverse populations.
