First seen May 12, 2026 · Last updated Jun 08, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study tests if getting a new heart valve right away (within 12 hours) helps people survive a severe heart condition called cardiogenic shock, compared to waiting a few days for standard care. About 30 adults with a tight heart valve and shock will take part. The goal is to see if early treatment keeps people out of the hospital longer.
